August 8, 2001 Xi'an Zhonglv Ecology Science and Technology Industry Ltd, SkyPeople's predecessor, was established in Xi'an, Shaanxi province as a manufacturer of biodegradable starch resin and related products.
December 28, 2003 Xi'an Zhonglv revised its business scope to begin producing concentrated fruit juices.
June 16, 2005 Xi'an Zhonglv was renamed Shaanxi Tianren Organic Food Co., Ltd, or SkyPeople.
December 18, 2005 Shaanxi Tianren purchased Shaanxi Province Fruits Processing Factory located in Jingyang, Shaanxi Province.
April 19, 2006 SkyPeople acquired its main kiwifruit plantation known as “Qinmei Manor”, the largest kiwifruit plantation in Asia. At this time, the Company commenced production of kiwifruit concentrated products and derivatives.
May 27, 2006 Shaanxi Tianren acquired 91.5% of Xi'an Tianren.
September 26, 2006 SkyPeople established its Jingyang production base, as a leading processor of fruits and vegetables and a leading seller of apple juice and pear juice products.
September 29, 2006 Shaanxi Tianren increased its registered capital to $10.6315 million (88 million shares).
September 29, 2007 Shaanxi Tianren became a joint venture with the scope of its business directed toward pre-packed food including concentrated fruit and vegetables juices, fructose, pectin, fast-frozen and freeze-dried fruits and vegetables, dehydrated fruits and vegetables, fruit and vegetable juice drinks, and fruit vinegar.
February 26, 2008 SkyPeople raised $3.4 million through private placement financing.
February 28, 2008 SkyPeople listed the OTC Bulletin Board under the ticker of EEVT.
May 23, 2008 Completed a 1-for-328.72898 reverse stock split of common shares with a mandatory 1-for-22.006 conversion of Series A Preferred Stock. The Company also changed its name to SkyPeople Fruit Juice, Inc. and the ticker to SPFJ, effective May 23, 2008.
June 10, 2008 SkyPeople acquired full ownership of Huludao Wonder Fruit Co., Ltd. to serve as the core manufacturing and processing facility for apple juice concentrate for the Company.
October 29, 2009 SkyPeople officially listed On the AMEX.
November 20, 2009 SkyPeople completed the acquisition of Yingkou.
December 18, 2009 Shaanxi Tianren was renamed SkyPeople Juice Group Co., LTD (SkyPeople (China)).
April 20, 2010 SkyPeople successfully transfered to NASDAQ Global Market and started trading. |
